I wish I could report that I have become a prolific painter, but that hasn’t happened…yet!

On our Delta property, we have what used to be an orchid shed, which we have called the Dragonfly Hut -- a place we could go to contemplate the incomprehensible fact of Tania’s death and reflect on the mysteries of life.  Then, as I was torturing myself over what to do on the 3rd anniversary of Tania’s death, I was inspired (by Tania, no doubt) to have proper walls and a roof put on the Dragonfly Hut and it has now become the Dragonfly Studio.  On May 31st, Numa and Nicole, Norm and Cote and I had a small ceremony to dedicate the Studio in Tania’s memory.  So far, I have had only a one week painting retreat there, but it felt great and I did two successful landscapes of the Delta.  Now that the bad weather has set in there, we’ll see what spring and the dragonflies bring.
