To Potential Donors: As most of you know, making a movie is not cheap. Tape stock, film stock, hard drive space, equipment rentals, location fees, food to feed the cast and crew the list goes on and on. Please help me fulfill my dream of becoming a filmmaker by contributing to my thesis film project at the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television. USC Film School is one of the best in the world. This thesis film will help launch my film career. The title of the film is "Seahorses". It's a short film about a woman who loses her memory after a terrible accident. She struggles to reconstruct her memories, to remember who she is and who she has loved. Every small contribution and show of support helps so much. I intend to transfer the project to 35 mm film, which will cost between $500 to $600 per minute. So, if you give me $50, you'll know that you made it possible to view 10 seconds of the film on the big screen! In this time, when there are so many worthy causes, it seems strange to spend this kind of money on a film. But films move people, films change people. Films make people laugh and cry. Making a movie is a bit like having a baby. It's painful, it's a huge commitment, it's a struggle, it's hours and hours of work, and most of all, it's a miracle, a joy and a privilege that stays with you your whole life. Thank you so much! Tania
