This award-winning documentary explores the way dance expresses identity and creates a sense of home. Tania, the filmmaker, having grown up in different countries in Asia and Africa is denied her childhood experiences when she moves to Canada in her late teens. Determined to express her hybridity, she envisions creating a dance piece for film that fuses together classical Indian Bharata- Natyam, modern dance, and the vibrant dance of the Caribbean culture experienced in her youth.
