Hector Mercado Hector Mercado is of Puerto Rican heritage, born and raised in Spanish Harlem, New York City. Hector was with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company for six years. He has performed extensively, including playing the lead role of Bernardo in the Broadway revival of “West Side Story.” Following the success of the show, he was sought for feature film roles. Hector continues to choreograph and teach dance in Los Angeles today. Bradley Rapier Born and raised in Canada, Bradley first started street dancing with a group called Streetscape, touring and appearing on television. He has worked with legendary dance group pioneers such as The Electric Boogaloos and The Lockers. Bradley has become an internationally recognized dancer, choreographer, actor, and television host, including choreographing for MTV's hit boy band project "2gether." He is the director and founder of the award winning dance group The Groovaloos. Shivani Thakkar Trained in Bharatha Natyam from childhood by her mother Sudha, Shivani is a multi-talented artist. She went on to study with internationally known teachers. She has given solo performances extensively both in Canada, where she grew up, and in India, receiving awards and grants to pursue classical Indian dance. She has also trained in Ballet, Jazz, Funk and Tap, and is also a trained singer and actor. She is presently pursuing an undergraduate degree at USC in Los Angeles. |
